This is the TOP OF THE LINE Tank Lift Kit. Our product line includes: 1", 1.5", 2", 2.5" and 3 inch rise kits...they are different (purpose-made & patented)...no extra metal or holes for multiple fitments, the lines match the lines of the bike. American Made.
These are precision cut on our CNC machine from 6061 Billet Aluminum. You have a choice of the Machine Cut Finish, which can be polished to a Mirror Finish, OR choose the Powder Coat Black Finish.

1999-2007 - All sizes can fit (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, & 3 inch)
2008-Up have a 6 gallon tank and only the 1", 1.5" and sometimes the 2" will fit these years.

The DELUXE Option is for the rear of the tank, and allows you to move your tank up and back up to a half an inch. This is ESPECIALLY useful for 2008+ batwing bikes because moving the tank back & lifting the rear of it gives more inner fairing clearance. Full details on this option are HERE.
IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTES:
What we label a 1" Tank Lift is actually 1 1/8" lift, the reason for this is to accommodate machining and hardware fitment.
Because of small variances in how Harley welds stand-offs & tank ears, also because of variances in where the batwing fairing is bolted on, the 1" Tank Lift can be very useful in making sure there is clearance at full turn lock.
Please make sure this mod does not interfere with any components on your bike - like handlebars, turn signals, custom trees, etc. You don't want to end up with a dented tank! Check for clearance before ordering. Checking for clearance not only allows you to insure fitment, it also allows you to see which size will look best with your bike.
We are NOT responsible for any damage done to your bike because of the kit.
It is easy to check for clearance:
1. With bike on kickstand, take the bolt out of the front of your tank.
2. Loosen (do not remove) the bolt(s) at the rear of your tank.
3. Turn your handlebars all the way to the left and raise the tank up your desired lift height to check for clearance issues.
4. Turn your handlebars all the way to the right and raise the tank up your desired lift height to check for clearance issues.
Be careful when lifting your tank, you do not want to hit against something (forks, handlebars, trees, blinkers, etc.) when checking for clearance.

Harley Tank Lift 0 people found this helpfulI put the Harley Tank Lift Delux Kit (front and rear) on my 22 Harley Davidson TriGlide. It is an easy kit to install (just remember to have a low tank of gas--the tank will be much lighter and easiter to lift) and really makes the chrome on the engine pop better,.

Super rad kit 1 people found this helpfulThe lift kit is amazing and just pure quality mixed with simplicity. I just installed this on my 22 RG and let me tell you… it looks damn good! For those of yall with RG’s it’s kinda tricky because you don’t have a lot of room to get your hands back there but that ain’t DK’s fault! lol and don’t be cheap yall!!! Buy the deluxe and have a very clean looking set up. 5 star product with easy installation (aside from the RG fairing being in the way kinda if you have fat hands like mine) but all round super simple to do.

1.5" Deluxe tank lift installed today 1 people found this helpfulDecided to get some help and glad that I did. I have large hands so recruited a road partner sith smaller ones. I then was able to raise and adjust tank (3/4 full) as he could get bolts started, etc. Looks good and rainy day here in Indiana so good day for install and went well. Extra set of hands made short work.

Well Made 0 people found this helpfulUnfortunately I had to return the lift kit due to my handlebars hitting the tank which is just because I have them pulled back to relieve pressure on my bad shoulder and wrist. I really liked the look and would obviously help with cooling. Definitely recommend!

It does Work 0 people found this helpfulI did the 1.5" lift with deluxe option. It made a very nice reduction in the V-Twin temperature. I have a tuner that monitors engine temp. The lift along with deflector wings provided a 15 to 20 degree F reduction. Even the low speed or stop and go temperature improved. Once moving temperature drop quickly.

2016 Roadking Tank lift 3 people found this helpfulMy V-Twin like virtually everyone else's runs on the hot side. In SE Texas the normal weather is HOT&HUMID...even we'll into November. I likely pay too close attention to my roadkings engine temp as I have a DynoJet power view mounted on the bars. (Lets say, I monitor how well the bike is performing constantly). A normal ride 2 hours out running 60 to 75mph my engine temperature is 265-285 F. If I am in city or town with multiple stop and go the engine can easily exceed 300F. Yesterday I installed 1.5in lift on the tank with the deluxe (1/2risers) on back of tank. I also installed the deflector wings (trying anything to bring temp down some) "Hey the bolts are out so install the wings!" I did the exact run as I did the day before. Lifting the Tank and wings Worked! I saw a definite temp decrease. My highest temp reached yesterday was 250F. The day before the highest temp was 274F. Both days were cloudy and our coolest days of the year 74F. I will test this also in town, I do not expect such a big temp reduction yet can tell that space above the cylinders is breathing better. The idea raising the tank 1.5 inch will make a 880lb bike with a 6'2" 230lb rider top heavy is just beyond my ability to feel at all.... I whipped around with no issue. And to each their own... I like the way it looks! Thanks DK

Quality product and people. 5 people found this helpfulLiving and riding in the south in the summer is really hot. I seen the DK tank lift, the Deluxe option and the deflector wings, the concept made sense to me and decided the try them. So on a routine trip from MS to OH, 25 July- 4 Aug ‘25, I stopped by the DK Custom shop outside Hickory Flats, MS. I was greater warmly by Shelby and was informed that they didnt often do retail at the production shop. Oops my bad. She said they could probably help me out. She got the ball rolling and while I was waiting she offered me a tour of the shop with introductions to all the employees. Which was awesome, from the ‘front office’ to the CNC cutting machine to the shipping office. Just incredible. They all couldn’t be nicer. When we finished up my order was ready as long with an ample SWAG bag. We settled up and I was in the wind. I installed the 1-1/2 inch tank lift with the Deluxe option and deflector wings once in OH for the return trip. The install was super easy if you know the difference between a box end and an open end, less that 30 mins for all the components. Returning to MS the ambient temps were in the mid 90’s and as long as I was moving 40-75 mph the highest head temp was 267 and oil temp 205. I saw a 12 degree temp reduction in the head temp. I was exceptionally pleased with the temp reduction and DK Customs has a return customer.. Thanks. 08 Electra glide 113ci.

Very happy with this change. 5 people found this helpfulI installed the 1 1/2 inch lift kit on my 2020 Freewheeler to drop the engine temperatures that were running as high as 330°. This dropped the highway temperature down to 277°. It still runs at 330°. Running around town and stop and go traffic at 100° ambient temperature. I’ve been thinking of installing the Jim’s fan on my engine, but I don’t know if I do that much around town riding anyway. It sure does help out on the open road though. I also installed the 1/2 inch lift on the rear of the tank to try to keep the gas level. It changed my remaining miles from 85 down to 68 after the installation was complete. I can deal with that.

Yes, an engine mounted fan is good at helping cool things down. The Cooling Deflector Wings and Tank Lift help more when riding. It works. 5 people found this helpfulThe good news is the 1” tank lift definitely reduced engine temperature about 8-10 degrees on the rear cylinder of my 114 c.i. M8. The not so good news is the tank lift is a PIA to install on an Ultra Limited. It made things much easier my taking the tank off to attach the riser arms to the tank. The cost seems high for what you get, but I guess we are paying for the engineering. That being said, the hardware is top quality.

Massive heat reduction after install of the Tank Lift and Deflector Wings! 6 people found this helpfulI purchased these after a 5000 mile western states ride in 2024 for my 2014 HD Triglide. With the fairing design and stock tank lifts there is is no airflow around the engine and Phoenix in early June is miserable. I ordered the deluxe lift kit and the deflectors and also the HD cooling fan. The adds and the air flow change was incredible and dropped the temperature around the engine at least 15 degrees. Just returned from Sturgis and anyone who rode the Badlands this year knows that western SD was pushing 100 degrees but the bike rode comfortable for myself and my passenger. The difference that the airflow made was incredible and the DK Products made a huge difference here! Many thanks!!

what a difference! 2 people found this helpfulI added a 1" tank front lift, deluxe tank rear lift and cooling deflector wings to my 2012 Road King. It made a big difference in operating temp which resulted in a better running bike. I did my own test: before installation, i used a digital quick-read thermometer on the head of my rear jug, and it registered 296° after a run. I installed the front/rear tank lift kits and cooling deflector wings; the head on my rear jug now registers a temp of 274°. It definitely ran cooler on the road, and felt a lot more comfortable at stop lights. It absolutely ran better: I had more available power when accelerating and it ran noticeablely more smoothly. Absolutely recommend. A word of advice: the rear lift allows you to get a taller lift in the front because you can slide the tank back a bit. I installed 1" because i thought it would be tight. I could have easily put in the 1.5" with room to spare. (Bonus: the lift/wing combination looks pretty badass.)

My first ride after installing them was in 91 degrees. Legs were much cooler having less heat on them. Which is key living in Florida and summer rides.

Get the 1.5" Deluxe kit for the SG you'll love it 2 people found this helpfulI love the look of the 1.5" lift on my 2020 SG CVO, while I was taking things apart I ordered the Wrinkle Black Complete HiFlow 828 Air Cleaner for the Milwaukee-Eight, and installed that as well. I've got a few photos below showing how clean it all looks. I definitely will purchase more DK Custom products as they are made of really great quality parts. I had zero issues installing everything.

Plus the additional benefit of extra cooling. I definite win..win in my book. I checked clearance both direction between the tank and bars. There was about 1/4 inch so all good. 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic.

I hope that you checked for clearance before installing the tank lift. I am sorry if your tank is close to your handle bars. Make sure to move your handle bars both ways before riding to make sure you do not have any issue with turning the bars. Thank you for your business! -

A Highly Recommended Lift 5 people found this helpfulSo this was installed on my new 2024 Road Glide 3. Now, there is going to be a huge difference between and a 2 wheeled Road Glide but I thought I would experiment on the new one first with the tank lift. The difference between the Road glide 3 and a Road Glide is there is an electrical pack which is on the right side (that's the right side when sitting on the bike) this makes it nearly impossible to secure the top nut after reinstalling the bottom bolt to the frame of the bike. The work around to make this easier, still without removing the tank is back out the rear bolts under the seat to more than half way this will allow you to lift the tank higher to allow for installation of the right side assembly to the tank (a 3 inch 1x2 block of wood will help facilitate holding the tank up while installing) tighten and use blue thread locker.

I am sorry to hear that.
Not very often, but now and then HD has mounted the fairing a little out of spec.
Look at the fairing at full lock, then picture it 1/4" to 1/2" higher. I think you will find at that point there will be no contact.
Sometimes it happens that the fairing is clamped in place a little bit off. Fortunately it is not difficult to remedy, simply a matter of slightly adjusting the fairing position on the forks.

Easy, effective modification 2 people found this helpful10 minute mod. Very easy. Only one small problem, I don’t know if it is my bike (new model, ‘23.5 RG CVO, essentially a ‘24) or a miscalculation by DK but the new, longer bolts included have heads barely larger than the slots on the tank tabs and threatened to grind through without my going to the old washer jar for some help. Otherwise good idea, good product and I recommend it.

Love the way it looks. Haven’t ridden yet but it will obviously let more air hit the top of the engine.

And that's a good thing! My mechanic at Palm Spring H-D said I might get a bit of a misread on the remaining fuel gauge, is this true? Not a problem but I'd still like to know what's going on. Thanks guys, I have your Comfort Lift on my suspension front and back, which transformed my ride!

I removed the Deluxe lift on rear because my Saddleman seat wasn’t fitting well on tank. Still looked the same and reduced some airflow that was coming up the waist area. Worth the effort.

2.5” Lift Kit 1 people found this helpfulWhen I found out that I could do a simple install to maximize the airflow for my Road Glide, I was grateful to DK Customs for providing this product. I went with the 2.5 inch lift kit in black with the deluxe option. Installing the kit was a bit tough due to the fact I had a full tank of gas. Make sure you have less than half a tank for better movement when installing. As advertised, there is much more clearance between the cylinder heads and the bottom of the fuel tank. I see how this will reduce engine temps when I am riding around town. I can also clean my cylinders much better now. Thank you DK for a small, yet effective product for my bike!

Before the lift kit I was constantly hitting 316 degrees. After the lift I haven't seen the temperature go above 290. I also installed the wind deflectors. Additionally, it also helped with buffeting. 22 Road King Special. Highly recommend it!!

Idiot-proof, effective, & high quality 3 people found this helpfulSo you guys will love this. I researched and read everything that I could about these tank lifts. I have a 2022 FLHTCUTG, and I decided on 1” up front and 1/2” on the back. The parts showed up quickly, and I got to work. Mistake #1: I filled my gas tank the night before I decided to install the lift. Gas is freaking heavy! Mistake #2: After all of my research and study, I decided that the threaded posts on the lifts screwed into the neck of the frame and not through the tank ears. I know, I know. Mistake #3: I didn’t realize that I was installing them upside down and smashed a few fingers forcing it to work. Don’t ask how I was able to get the nuts on the bolts, but I’m rather proud of that part of this nut roll. Kudos to DK Customs that I was actually able to get it back together! Mistake #4: I got it all back together after two and an half very profanity laced hours and went for a 150 mile ride with the parts incorrectly installed. Why it didn’t fall apart I have no idea. Someone up there has a soft spot for idiots! Still salty that night while nursing my smashed fingers, I decided to review the instructions one more time, and eureka, I saw my mistake. Twenty minutes later, the parts were installed easily, securely, and most importantly, correctly. Feel free to laugh, now that my hands are healed I’m laughing too. Great product when installed correctly! Learn from my mistakes!

High Quality Parts. However... 0 people found this helpfulThe quality of the parts are top notch... my problem came about in preparation of installing on my 2023 Street Glide. The stock fairing comes very close to the tank when the bars are fully clocked to the left or right. In order for this to work, I would have to move the tank back at least 1/2" for me to feel comfortable and safe with the install. Unfortunately, there was not enough adjustment in the lower tank tabs. There was less than 1/4" of usable adjustment. This is not a DK Customs problem. They do everything they can to make available parts to help us keep our Harleys cool and alive. Needless to say, I did not install the tank lifts.

A bit disappointed 1 people found this helpful1.5in. lift and deluxe option to raise back of tank on 21 Freewheeler. Like the look and ease of cleaning top of engine. Cons,, noticed much more air coming up the side of the tank causing head buffeting that I didn't have B4. Fuel level indicator is very inaccurate now reading much lower than actual level. Right side top nut interferes with cable tray. I had to devise protective pad to prevent damage to lines. Probably should have gone with 1in. Lift. I'm not sure if I'll leave it or remove it and go back to stock.

This solved both goals plus allowing more air to the top end. These guys build great quality functional parts to enhance the ride with the added bonus to longevity of the machine.

Bought the kit for the rear but I never installed it as I put a lift kit on the back of the trike and I figured with the lift kit on the back all I needed was the lift kit for the front of my tank. Tank look level. Would recommend.

No downsides that I know of 0 people found this helpful2017 FLHP, 1" lift - deluxe option. Can't say it is helping, I am trusting DK on that, otherwise I can not see any downsides. Fuel wise: my bike never got great mpg, on a 1 tank test (ran dry, carried 1 gallon can with me) I hit "lo range - 10 miles" 32 miles before my tank was empty, total range on tank was 235 miles. When I refilled it took about 5.7 gallons to fill so I have lost little to no capacity.

The installation was easy and straightforward and deffinitly works as intended. Oil temps are lower and I love the looks of the setup! Got the delux option installed as well to help reduce the tank angle for more fuel when filling up.

Better Air Flow 0 people found this helpfulDoes exactly what DK Customs claim. I added the 2" lift to my '21 RG FLTRX and man what a difference it makes on the cooling. I never thought too much about heat until I started running a Dynojet PV-3B on my scoot. I was seeing engine temps up to 330 degrees and since installing the lift it's around 280 degrees. Great product, would recommend to anyone and it improves the appearance of the scoot. I like seeing the rocker covers.

Only thing I didn’t like was I had to slide the tank back so the handle bars didn’t hit the tank. Pushed the nose of the seat up. Something to keep in mind if you need all the seat. Great products and great company!

More space makes more air for sure. Great way to get rid of heat instantly. I like that my tank isn’t sitting on top on my engine anymore. DK designs things that don’t only look good. They have a legitimate function to make your bike run awesome.

I am very satisfied with temp reduction, I'm seeing around a 19 degree. I also ordered the Cooling Wings which I have not installed as I'm not happy with the fit or the look so guessing I wasted that part. But still very happy with the lift kit.

Seems to work some to reduce heat 0 people found this helpfulFirst here are some tips: definitely do this when the tank is empty, that damn thing is heavy with half to full tank :( Also, the instructions say to start on the right, but if your bike is like mine ('22 RG) then you should start on the left because there are fewer wires in the way on that side. After you do the left, the tank is supported for the right side so your hands are free to get the wires out of the way. Also, definitely do that paper towel in the wrench trick, before I did that I lost one of the tiny little nuts somewhere on top of the engine. I'm sure I'll never find that again. I think the lift is helping with the engine temp, but it doesn't seem to be much more than maybe about 5 degrees at max, but it does climb more slowly and it seems like it falls more rapidly when you start moving again. The instructions need to be updated to be more logical, but I guess there are plenty of videos too so whatever.

They actually do move a ton heat away. The quality is always outstanding as is the customer service. DK believes in the products they sell and they actually still ride. One of the 1st things I did when I got a new to me trike. The lifts are well worth it.

It was an easy install without removing the tank or fuel line. Great quality! I would recommend purchasing the deluxe lift kit and lift the back of the tank also. I installed both at same time.

Improve improve improve 0 people found this helpfulI saw the YouTube videos regarding cooling. I removed the left side mid frame deflector, noticed a difference. So decided to go with a 2” tank lift with rear(deluxe) lift. Plus Cooling deflector wings. I would have done this a long time ago but wasn’t aware of DK. The 2012 road glide ultra has a stock air deflector that directs air up and over the front of the tank, probably reduces helmt/chest buffeting. I noticed right away, 30-40 mph the extra air on my legs and motor. No helmet/ buffeting at freeway speed ! I also was able to access the valve covers for cleaning. I also got the blowby bypass diy kit. Oil was running out of the bottom of the air cleaner. I ran the hose up after seeing how much room there was under the tank.

Feels like I'm tucked into the bike, smoothed out the lines between the tank and faring. Looks more aggressive! Have not had the chance to ride it on a long trip yet so I cant comment on the cooling assistance. Buy this you wont be disappointed!

With the exception of being able to access the top washer and nut, this installation is very easy. Having a nearly empty gas tank is definitely the way to go. A set of helping hands is good but I did this installation by myself.

They were delivered in a timely manner with everything needed for installation. The instructions were easy to follow. The only thing I noticed is they were written for an older bike. My 2019 trike tank was bolted to the frame at 2 points and I had to be careful to maintain the tanks position.

Just couldn’t keep the bolt in place to get the second one started, fat fingers I guess. No big deal, took to a friend that has a shop and he put it on for cheap. Can’t wait till summer to see how it helps engine temp. Would highly recommend just on the looks alone.

They go on so easily and it not only lets you see more of your engine, but it lets a lot of air blow through. These, coupled with the mid-frame baffles from HD really keeps the heat off your inner thigh. A VERY economical solution to eliminate cooked thighs!

Outstanding Product by a Great Company ! 0 people found this helpfulOne thing I noticed on my 2019 HD Ultra Classic M8 107 was how the MoCo placed the gas tank right on top of the engine. IMO this caused two problems. First, they chromed almost the entire top of those cylinders and then hid all that chrome with a low sitting gas tank. Second, placing that engine right on top of those hot cylinders totally succeeded in blocking the air flow from helping to cool these "air cooled engines" down. After I checked for left and right clearance when moving my handlebars through their arc, a must do, I knew that I could install the 1 1/2" lift kit. I also opted for the highly recommended Deluxe Option which raises the back of the tank up by about 1/2". With both lifts in place, the tank is elevated but level with the frame, not nose up. Now I can shine up that top chrome and you can see all of those huge jugs. This is a perfect invention manufactured by the professional company of DK Custom with quality parts. Perfect service and Highly recommended!

Lifts are quality products-they fit and they look great on the Trike. I found that using a towel between the lifted tank and the frame worked great. I also put a towel on top of the heads-made me less likely to drop parts into the 'great unknown' between the motor and the frame. These lifts make my Trike look just a little better than any other one on the road-more chrome to see and more air to cool the trike..

Effective 0 people found this helpfulI ride in temperatures well over 100 degrees in the Arizona desert with my 2012 Road Glide. The custom motor is quite the beast at 113 ci and 130 hp / 127 tq. Things get cooking fast down here! With the tank riser kit, plus the rear deluxe lift kit, and the cooling wings, I'm easily seeing 10 degrees less, sometimes more, on really hot days. Even during questionable speeds on the highway in the heat, passing grandmothers, Corvettes, Mustangs and Kawasakis, the oil temp has never gone over 230. At regular cruising, it's more like 190. Ah, life is good.

Installed the tank lift, Billet Outlaw HiFlow 587 Air Cleaner w/External Breather System using via hose and filter. Everything fit without any additional hardware or mods. All required hardware was included. Thanks DK for informative videos, recommendations and noticeable improvements. Also, removed the left mid-frame deflector and added Love Jugs for reduced felt and engine heat.

Just my observation. 2 more washers for the front and instead of the fender washers which are to wide for the back and will bend on the break on the tank i used a smaller ss washer and lock washer. Other than that great product keep up the good work ride long ride safe!

easy, inexpensive, effective 0 people found this helpfulI immediately noticed a decrease in felt heat, so I can only assume that was due to a decrease in engine heat. Easy to install. Great fit and finish. Shipped fast. Seems a little expensive for what it is but a decent value for what it does.

Other that the really good looks and gettng more air over the motor, It also helped with some buffering that we were both was experiencing. quality product and quality looks.

Easy to install, haven't had any really warm riding in Pennsylvania yet, but seems like more air flow and no buffeting. Also installed air deflector wings and removed Harley's deflectors that came with CVO.

Haven't gotten a chance to ride much with it yet but I can tell using both the front and rear tank lift made for a little more room for my thighs which is nice i was able to not only move the tank up off from the engine but forward a bit as well

Great Product 0 people found this helpful2010 HD Limited. I’m very particular when it comes to bolting parts on my bikes. I installed the 1” black powder coated lift. Well designed, good clean look, easy install. Powder coat kinda thin, but not on visible side. The 1” lowered temps at least 10 degrees. I raised rear tank 1/4” with cut hose and washers. In my opinion, more than 1” would be too much. It works as described. I recommend.

2 In 0 people found this helpfulI bought the 2 inch lift with the deluxe lift as well to lift the back of the fuel tank, looks great and really compliments my T-bar setup and custom bolts on my 2020 Road Glide. Installation for the front and rear took about 10 minutes. Sitting next to a stock bike you can really see the difference and it adds that extra bit of change to your bike. I went with 2 inches because I didn't want the final product to look like it was chopped but I wanted to showcase the custom gold bolts I have on my rocker boxes. Great product the black risers and bolts look great and perform as expected. Thanks guys!

Love the look 0 people found this helpfulPut a 1 1/2" lift on a 2007 Ultra Classic and I love how it opened up a view to the chrome of the rocker covers. It took me a little longer then some of the other reviewers because I just couldn't get the nut behind the mounting ears and start to thread it on the bolt. After finally doing that, I tightened it using a crows foot wrench with ratchet and extension. About 45 min for me. I'll be buying rocker box bolt covers next to complete the look.

Clean and easy 0 people found this helpfulLift kit installed has a really clean look. Easy to install. Just follow the instructions. I went with the 1" lift on my '17 TG. This is just enough to get good air flow over the engine without having any handlebar clear issues. I highly recommend getting the gas tank down to 1/4 or less full. Only negative is that I waited to 45K miles to install.

Great look and Easy to Install! 0 people found this helpfulI wasn't sure if I would ike this look, but it makes a big difference in seeing the top of the engine. Very easy to install. I did it myself in about 20 minutes. Be sure you use blue thread locker! THe one thing I would change is, I'd install the black ones instead of polished machine finish. I tried to polish the aluminum as suggested, but could not get them looking great. I"ll paint them myself, but powder coated would have been better.

What a difference on an M8! 0 people found this helpfulInstalled quickly and without issue, did not have to remove tank, only loosened it and pushed it ahead slightly to install this on a 2017 Freewheeler and it wasn't necessary to mess with the vent or fuel lines. It was necessary to push tank ahead slightly because my Mustang 2up seat wasn't fitting correctly sitting too far back to bolt back in. What a difference this lift has made on the heat coming off the engine and hitting my right calf/leg! I have a permanent red patch there from riding under high heat (30+ C) but it is greatly reduced now. It has most definitely lowered the engine temp by 15-20 degrees according to the digital HD gauge I have installed for oil temp. I also have the Cooling Deflector Wings installed, they were in place 2 yrs ago and the tank lift works fine with them even though they aren't the wings noted for use with the lift kit. Thanks DK!!

Good product 0 people found this helpfulI installed these (1") with the cooling deflector wings; so far less air coming over the tank and feeling a little less heat from the engine. Hardest part of the install was getting them out of the packaging (someone went crazy with the tape). All in all, a good product that does what it says it will do.

With the combination of the Tank lift and HD Cool flow fan on my TriGlide I have absolutely no heat hitting me when stopped in summer traffic. Incredible difference.

One inch tank lift with deluxe option 0 people found this helpfulInstalled one inch tank lift with deluxe option on my 2012 Tri Glide. Easy installation following provided instructions. Make sure your gas tank is less than half full, It makes lifting tank much easier. I put a towel between the bottom of tank & backbone of frame to hold it in position while bolting on the one inch lift kit. Deluxe option was a snap. I moved my tank back & have no clearance issues with the handlebars contacting the tank. Works great & Trike runs cooler with more air flowing over top of motor.

Another Great Product 0 people found this helpfulWith the 1.5 inch lift I found it was easier to take the tank off than try to squeeze a wrench in between the wiring harness backbone and the tank mounting holes. Once I figured that out installation was a breeze.

The little differences make big visual impact! 0 people found this helpfulI purchased and installed the 1.5" lift on my 2017 Freewheeler at the same time as the cooling deflector wings and am extremely happy with the results! Having that little bit extra airspace under the front of the tank not only helps with cooling (as advertised), but functionally it helps remove some light glare from the subtle difference in angle of the dash and gauge. Plus the 1.5" tastefully shows off the engine just that little bit extra. Little finicky for installation, but I also recognize I'm pretty much a novice, that is eagerly learning quickly! Simple tools and novice hands can do it, you can too! Purchase a lift kit ASAP! You won't be disappointed!

Tank lift really adds to look and feel of bike (Freewheeler) 0 people found this helpfulI’m really pleased with the looks of the 1.5" Tank Lift Kit on my 2017 Freewheeler. I initially installed the lifts to help with the heat but I also really like the way raising the front of the tank gives my Freewheeler just a bit more of the chopper look (high front end, low back end) as well as showing off more of the new 107 engine. Also, when I first sat on the bike I immediately noticed that the higher tank made me feel like I was more of a part of the bike vs just setting on top of the bike, especially when using the highway pegs. (I’m 6 ft with long legs) Installation (using the towel method) was a breeze even though I made the poor choice of filling my 6 gallon tank just prior to doing the mod which really added a lot of extra weight to the tank.. FYI... I did check my remaining fuel range meter before and after the mod and saw absolutely no change in the reading. I was not able to do a before and after temp compare because of the change in weather, but just the look and feel alone made it well worth it. Great product, great company. Ron

Improved Look & Airflow 0 people found this helpfulFor a much cleaner look, I installed both the 1.5" Tank Lift Kit & Deluxe Lift Kit together. Lifting both front and rear of tank gives a more seemless look to the tanks profile, plus increases air flow across both big twins. Far easier to clean underneath and you can see more of those beautiful chromed heads now. The instructions were great and I was able to easily complete both front and back kit installs quickly by myself.

Nice Upgrade! 0 people found this helpfulJust installed the 2 inch deluxe tank lift kit on my 17 TG. I really love the look and I can see my rockers now! While I've only taken a short drive to treat things, it already seems to run cooler as evidenced by the fact that the fans didn't come on when I parked and shutdown. I also installed the Cooling deflector wings. Both are great additions to your touring model.

Watch the Video, Take Your Time, Easy Install 0 people found this helpfulI watched the DK Install Video first, then just took my time. Install is straight forward with no hidden hiccups (the towel under the front of the tank was a great idea). Wish I had thought of putting a “catch towel” under the front lift points as I put on the nuts before I dropped one into the engine area. Took over a solid hour with a flashlight to find where the nut had dropped down and hidden at the bottom under the engine by the water pump. Spread out catch towels after that to keep up with the dropped items from my huge fingers. After it was done the install is straight forward and really very simple. Well darn, there really is an engine under there! Was able to move the tank forward to make taking my Ultimate seat on and off easier. Little test ride and all was great!

Good Quality product 0 people found this helpfulThis is an easy install, that looks good. I don't have the miles to tell the effect. However, as hot as the Twin Cooled runs, anything has to help. It is a very well made and unique priduct, go with the $12.00 Deluxe addition. I had an unrelated question and the response was handled above and beyond. These folks are as professional as they get.
